| COMMISSARY
- provides
the means for inmates to purchase commissary items once
a week depending on their housing unit assignment.
Items range from stamps, paper, personal hygiene items,
clothing, snacks. Indigent inmates are provided
personal hygiene items on a weekly basis at no charge. |
| HOUSEKEEPING
-
providing inmates with clean uniforms and linen 3 times
per week. Housing units are supplied with cleaning
agents for proper hygiene. Inmates, by direction,
are charged with laundry and cleaning details. |
| FOOD
SERVICE
- with 3 nutritiously balanced meals, the department serves
approximately 1500 meals per day. Meals are prepared
in a modern on sight kitchen and delivered to each housing
unit. Food service professionals provide equivalent
substitutes for medical or religious diets. All meals
meet the recommended daily allowance (RDA) |
| MAINTENANCE
- responsible
for day to day repairs and preventative maintenance within
the facility. Maintenance personnel conduct life-safety
inspections on a routine basis and strive to continuously
improve the operation of the facility. |
| RECEPTION
- routes all incoming calls and coordinates the
initial phase of admission for all attorney visits, vendors,
etc. Reception processes all citizen inquiries and
assists in day to day mail operations. |
| MAIL
- all incoming mail is screened and censored (legal mail
excluded). After processing, all mail is routed
to the inmates respective housing unit. Unauthorized
mail is returned to the sender with a letter of explanation.
All inmate correspondence must indicated their criminal
control number. Money orders and cashiers checks
only will be accepted for deposit in to inmate accounts.
Books must be shipped directly from the publisher or book
store. |
